Few things say the Holidays in Los Angeles than tamales! They are made by the dozens at tortillerias and parties throughout the city, giving Los Angeles a flair unique in American cities.
Join MrLA on a comfortable minivan and walking journey to tamale icons La Adelita, Cojutepeque, and Liliana's Tamales to sample the variety of tamales from all over Latin America that make the holidays in Los Angeles so special.
All "explorers" and I will meet at Union Station and end there, having sampled great tamales and a holiday churro and champurrado across the street at Mr. Churro's on Olvera Street.
